International Mail Service: Resumed Acceptances and Continued Suspensions


Good news! As of August 7th 2020, USPS updated their list of countries that they are not accepting shipments to, and about half have been removed! Suspension has ended and acceptance has resumed for the following countries:

The following list consists of countries which USPS has continued to temporarily suspend from making shipments to. Per USPS:
“USPS receives notices that various postal operators are no longer able to process or deliver international mail or services originating from the United States (U.S.) due to service disruptions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the Postal Service is currently unable to accept items destined for affected countries at any Post Office or postal facility location, effective August 7 and until further notice. Customers are asked to refrain from entering items addressed to any of the below countries into the USPS system effective immediately.”
