PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
Made with real gold, this is an impressive large Victorian medallion. At approximately 120 – 130 years old, it is very well made with good weight to it, and ornately designed. This has been tested, revealing it is has a gold content of 5%, essentially 12K Gold filled. There are no visible hallmarks anywhere on this massive beauty, which weighs just over 22 grams, measures just under 3 inches tall, and, as it is a three dimensional piece, is just over ½ inch deep, of which it appears as though the front, raised piece may have been soldered onto it, using a silver toned metap. There is very minimal wear and is in excellent condition despite it being over a century old. This clearly was made very well by skilled hands, and was made to last.
