PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
A gorgeous old Victorian locket, plated in Gold, featuring a mother of pearl face with a gold ribbon. Adorned with Marcasite and an intricate frame. There is some loss of gold on the back from wear and use, but otherwise it is in beautiful shape for its age. Truly a lovely piece.
KNOWN HISTORY
This is the 2nd time I have written this, the first time I typed it I had just nearly finished then somehow, it all disappeared. The only times this happens is when it is an item desperately needed by someone, intended to remove negative Spiritual attachments. I use Microsoft Word 365 which automatically saves almost constantly, so when something like this happens and there's literally nothing at all saved, I know there's been some sort of unseen intervention.
This piece was a labor of love, that was created during our trip to New Orleans in 2007, during Voodoo Fest. Every time we visit the French Quarter, we always run into someone we know, and during this visit we ran into our long time friend, Mama Lola. Born in Haiti in 1936, Mama Lola is perhaps the most respected Vodou Priestess in the US. She has such a Presence to her that just radiates her Wisdom and her genuine Love of helping others through her Craft.
As always, like a sweet Grandma who always gives you cookies, Mama Lola always sends us home with items she has created. This is one of those pieces.
This is a Love talisman, however, it is not your ordinary Love talisman. This is not a piece that forces someone to love you. It is not a piece that pulls in a soul mate. This is not a romantic Talisman, but a Talisman for family relationships.
A very powerful piece created by Mama Lola, this is of course a very direct, all-encompassing magick that detoxifies family relationships, removing obstacles and providing protection for you and your loved one.
You may be wanting to reunite with your biological parent, or develop a relationship with a child, repair a relationship with a sibling or cousin, whatever the case is, this reads your intentions and will get to work immediately.
This first works by removing any unwanted spiritual and/or magickal attachments that have been intentionally placed around you and/or your loved one. This includes any spells, curses, hexes, any spirits, demonic entities, and anything else of such nature.
This is an unfortunate reality these days, particularly when it comes to Parental Alienation. Too often one parent alienates the child from the other parent without justification, due to their own personal issues. Some even go so far as to place curses and hexes upon the parent they are alienating – they may even send demons their way to wreak further havoc upon them. As if this and the brainwashing weren't harmful enough to the child, that parent can even place a casting over their own child. It is a terrible reality that too many children and parents suffer through.
This will always continue to function as a Powerful piece of protection, preventing any future unwanted metaphysical placements upon you and your loved one. It builds a wall of solid White Light around you and your loved one. This is of the purest white light, which nothing can breach.
The Power of this piece also removes obstacles that stand in the way of your relationship. This may be Communication issues, grudges, it may be anger held by one or both of you towards the other, or it may be another person speaking falsities about you, just for example.
To use this is very simple. You can use either a photo of you and the family member, or, if you don't have a photo of them, you can write your name and their name. Whoever's picture/name you have placed inside the locket will receive the full power of this piece.
This should be placed in a special, designated area in your home. We personally found the best results by creating a small altar of sorts, displaying it on a table with mementos of the family member, such a child's trophy or artwork, photos, etc.
