This excavated glass has been buried in the soil of the Holy Land of Israel for over 2,200 years, and maintains its original, natural patina, which evolved gradually over the millennia as a result of prolonged exposure to the surrounding environmental elements – oxidation and reactions to the mineral/elemental composition of the soil, moisture/water, sun, etc.
The Amulet is Gold plated over a mixed metal, and measures just over 1 inch tall by just under 1 inch wide. The chain is Gold plated brass & measures 18 inches.
