A striking, one of a kind, very old antique ring with exquisite details & stunning natural patina, particularly on the band's intricate high relief. Arabian in origin, Evil Eye rings were often used to protect one's best interests & self – to protect one's finances, business, health, to banish evil, unwanted energies, & dark spirits. Dates to 18th - 19th Century. Based on our observations, it appears to be a mixed metal, most likely bronze & perhaps copper, & it appears to have either a lower carat gold content, or to have once been plated in gold. Due to the extreme metaphysical nature of this ring, we have not felt comfortable taking it into a jeweler to have its physical composition analyzed, so for the purpose of accuracy, we will refer to it's composition as unknown.
